A few common questions.
What if our work schedules change from week to week?
Bring an example of the current schedule and explain the recurring conflicts, transportation needs and childcare arrangements. These details can help frame the parenting discussion without assuming that one standard schedule will fit your family.
Can you discuss a problem with an existing parenting plan?
Yes. Tell intake that you have an existing order and what you need addressed. Ask how to provide the plan securely before the consultation. Changing its terms and dealing with alleged noncompliance are different questions.
How much will representation cost?
The initial consultation is $200, waived for referrals. Representation is a separate engagement. The initial retainer and ongoing billing depend on the matter and will be discussed before you decide to hire the firm. A retainer is not a promise of the total cost of a divorce.
How long could my divorce take?
Timing depends on the issues, financial information, cooperation between the parties and the court schedule. We can discuss the factors affecting your situation at the consultation; there is no single timeline that fits every case.
