Wendy A.L. Beswick, Esq. is an attorney-at-law licensed to practice in both Florida and Jamaica. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Technology, Jamaica and her Certificate of Legal Education (C.L.E.) from the Norman Manley Law School in Kingston, Jamaica. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Communication from the State University of New York (SUNY), University at Buffalo. Wendy later obtained her Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University, completing the three-year program in just two years.

Wendy’s legal career spans multiple practice areas, including Third Party Property Insurance Defense, Personal Injury Protection, Immigration, and Commercial Law. She also served as an Assistant Attorney General with the United States Virgin Islands Department of Justice, where she held special admission to the Bar. In that role, she served in the Solicitor General’s Department, where she represented the Executive Branch of Government in criminal appeals and civil matters, advised agencies and commissions, and reviewed government contracts and legal instruments for legal sufficiency. She also appeared on behalf of the USVI Government and its boards, commissions, and officers in quasi-judicial proceedings, with a primary emphasis on wrongful dismissal matters.

In addition to her litigation and advisory experience, Wendy has completed Florida Family Law Mediation training, which enhances her ability to support clients in navigating sensitive family matters. She is also a certified Parish Court and Supreme Court Mediator in Jamaica, enabling her to help parties resolve disputes through constructive and collaborative dialogue. Wendy has also served on both the Member Benefits and the Media and Communications Committees of the Florida Bar. 

Today, Wendy focuses her practice on Family and Immigration Law. She has guided numerous individuals and families through complex immigration processes—whether sponsoring qualifying relatives, pursuing cancellation of removal, filing waivers of inadmissibility, or seeking protection under VAWA as survivors of abuse. Known for her dedication and compassion, Wendy is committed to helping clients achieve their American dream.

As a proud Jamaican-American and dual-barred attorney, Wendy is uniquely positioned to serve the Caribbean community in both the United States and Jamaica, bridging legal and cultural gaps with ease.

Outside of work, Wendy enjoys dancing, gardening, baking, and watching movies with her son.
